Epidemiology and public health research relating to solar ultraviolet (UV) exposure usually relies on dosimetry measure UV doses received by individuals. However, measurement errors affect each unknown amounts, complicating the analysis of such measurements their relationship underlying population associated outcomes. This paper presents a new approach estimate without use dosimeters. By combining satellite-derived data account for environmental factors simulation-based ratio (ER) modelling individual factors, we are able specific periods. is significant step forward alternative techniques which have previously been limited annual dose estimation. We compare our estimates with dosimeter from skiers builders in Switzerland. The expected be slightly below true due variety dosimeter-related errors, mostly explaining why greater than or equal corresponding measurements. Our holds much promise as low-cost way either complement substitute traditional dosimetry. It can applied context, but also fundamentally well-suited used basis dose-estimating mobile app that does not require an external device.
